Dedicated to the memory of Ronald Meakes
This site is a tribute to Ronald Meakes, known by many as Chopper or Chop.
Ron was sadly diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer and after short battle passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday 27th May aged 66 years.
During this time Ron and his family received amazing care and support from both the Florence Nightingale Hospice and Rennie Grove Hospice at Home teams.
Ron was such a kind, caring and happy person with a wicked sense of humour. He left a lasting impact on all the people that he met over the years. He was loved by many and will be truly missed and never forgotten.
